Chen Xueli, male, M.A., teaching assistant in Department of Anthropology, Yunnan University.

  Main areas of interest in visual anthropology and cultural anthropology, having produced three ethnographic films independently and two others in collaboration with colleagues, with total length of the films exceeding 60 hours.

  Conducted field work among the Sani in the Stone Forest Yi Autonomous County.

  Films produced include: No More Bound Feet, Touching Eyes, Kaba Museum: China’s First Village Museum, Yi Folk Song and Danc Competition at Yuehu Yi Cultural and Ecological Village, and The “Public House” of the Sani People in Yuehu Village.
